The first Wednesday of each month we'll host a wine tasting event accompanied with small bites provided by Beehive Cheese!

Join us each month for Literary Libations, a show hosted by Bill Allred, X96 Radio From Hell personality, Ken Sanders, owner of Ken Sanders Rare Books, and Sommelier Jim Santangelo, owner of Wine Academy of Utah.

As an attendee, you’ll be part of the show’s live audience for future broadcast located inside the Leonardo Museum’s third floor ‘Underground’. Each show features a literary work sourced from Ken Sanders Rare Books, and encouraged to bring your own copy or pick up one prior to the show.

Literary Libations starts with a sparkling wine social, and small plate charcuterie and beverage pairing during the discussion.

Bill Allred leads the discussion by evoking Ken’s experiences with authors, short readings from the piece of literature, and question and answer from audience members.

This is a 90 - 120 minute program, recorded live for future broadcast over various podcasts and YouTube channels.

Join us at Clear Water Distilling for this Spirits & Cigar event. We select a premium cigar from Clear Water’s humidor room, and focus on a single spirit produced by Clear Water.

Jimmy Santangelo creates various cocktails around the flavor profile of the spirit select, to pair along with the range of flavors of the cigar.

You learn the etiquette of smoking, all supplies are provided; cutters, lighters, ashtrays, and tasting notes.

This is a fine event for beginners to spirits and cigars to those more experienced.

A covered outside event, heaters in the winter, dress accordingly.

Join Kerry, Gina and Jimmy for this Whiskey & History walking and tasting experience talking about the rich history of distillation in Utah from the mid-1800’s to present day.

This is a 2 ½ hour experience, beginning streetside chatting about the beginnings of Utah Whiskey lore, then invited into the Wine Academy of Utah’s tasting room to explore and taste local whiskies.

After the tasting, we continue the walking portion of the tour and finish with a final dram of local whiskey and a special surprise at RUIN Bar on Main street downtown Salt Lake!

Cellar Club – Fall Feast 

Start November right and join us for our ‘Cellar Club’ in the historic Chase Mill featuring a series of premium wines and elevated small plates by Chef Heather Joy of Beehive Cheese.

This season’s Cellar Club series celebrates a Fall Feast with all your favorite food and wine pairings. The wines selected range from an arrival pour of Sparkling Brut Rosé, followed by a lush Willamette Valley Chardonnay, to a red berry fruit-driven Village Cru Beaujolais, finishing with a rich jammy juicy Russian River Valley Red. We look forward to seeing you and your group at the next Cellar Club Wine Takes Flight event!

This event includes three beverages, a special arrival pour, and food pairings sponsored by Beehive Cheese. All while raising a glass to the birds at Tracy Aviary!
